LEARN ABOUT THE TRACEABILITY PROCESSES

Slide The land is worked for growing cotton. With harvests once a year, the plants grow, flower, and the bolls are harvested to be sent to the separation stage. ON THE FARM 1 LEARN ABOUT THE PRODUCTION TRACEABILITY PATH Swipe to see the entire traceability path. Slide In the cotton mill, everything begins with breaking apart the modules that come from the farm, for ginning and cleaning of all impurities in the lint. After that, the cotton is compressed into bales of, on average, 220 kg, and two samples are separated, one from each side, for the respective analysis of the intrinsic and extrinsic characteristics of the processed cotton. Then the SAI (Sistema Abrapa de Identificação, Abrapa System of Identification) generates a bar code, which ensures 100% traceability of the Brazilian cotton, with ABR and/or BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) certification. SEPARATION 2 LEARN ABOUT THE PRODUCTION TRACEABILITY PATH Swipe to see the entire traceability path. Slide This is where the magic happens! After being produced and processed, the cotton arrives at the spinning mill to be transformed into yarn. It is from this point on that the fiber begins to transform! SPINNING 3 LEARN ABOUT THE PRODUCTION TRACEABILITY PATH Swipe to see the entire traceability path. Slide In this phase, the yarn is weaved into wefts, forming the fabric that will be used to make the final garments! Here textures, patterns, and colors are worked on, kicking off the creative process of the designers and stylists. KNITTING AND WEAVING 4 LEARN ABOUT THE PRODUCTION TRACEABILITY PATH Swipe to see the entire traceability path. Slide It is during confection that the cotton becomes useful! With the creativity of stylists and tailors, the final pieces, with varied designs, are produced. CONFECTION 5 LEARN ABOUT THE PRODUCTION TRACEABILITY PATH Swipe to see the entire traceability path. Slide At the point of sale, the pieces meet the final consumer. There, you can choose, combine, enhance, and decide how and when that piece will be part of your daily life!
